Does anyone know of a high quality/precision design for an external word clock unit.?
Also, what precisely is a superclock in the studio context? |

Howzabout an 11.2896MHz oscillator and 2x74HC163, assuming no need to lock to an external reference.
Perhaps superclock refers to the sync pulse generator. All the digital kit in a studio needs to share a common reference if they are all to work together. An example or two. http://www.nvision1.com/Prod/Process/sg4410.asp http://www.tek.com/site/ps/0,,20-07223-INTRO_EN,00.html http://www.courtyard.co.uk/cy430.htm http://www.dk-audio.com/Sider/16_Sync_Generator.html ray. |
