Default Linn Karik skipping problems, help?

I have a Linn Karik that could not read any disk. Previous owner said it was skipping but it would not play at all. So I replaced the laser HOP-M3 with new one. It now reads fine but skips alot within one song.

I have read in some posts that a dielectric capacitor in the motor controller area should be replaced but wanted to know if anybody knew about what to do.

thanks
