Default panasonic rx-dt77 boombox

Hi guys,
I was given this boombox for free, but its dead. Its been through a repair guy before it landed on my hands.
Cause of death? Some over-enthusiastic guy plugged it to 240V supply bypassing a 110V transformer. It blew the regulator/system supply ic and a power transistor. The first guy replaced both but nothing happened.I found the ic faulty and replaced it again. Now the boombox is half dead the ic is not giving all the voltages.
Does anyone has this boombox's service manual?I am not giving up on it yet,i've never listened to it but my dad swears 'it's the best music system ever built'.Has anyone listened to it?It makes me wonder if a boombox is capable of producing audiophile quality music.
