Kernel streaming versus WASIO
I have recently bought the excellent HIFACE device (tweaked up by John Kenny with battery PS and USB cable). This is used with Foobar/Vista. Can somebody kindly explain :
The differnece (if any) between KS output and WASIO ?? What is the best to use ?? DAC is strictly 16/44.1 so is there any advantage to using higher bitrates ?? Is there an optimum way of setting up Foobar/Vista to take full advantage of the HIFACE ?? Thanks for your expert input |
