i have a marantz cd72 and the drawer is sticking when opening and closing.on closer inspection i see some of the teeth on the cog that opens the drawer are missing can anyone tell me where i would be able to buy one in the uk?

There have been a lot of threads on this topic (see anything resembling "the tray in my Marantz player using a CDM-4 won't work"). Marantz used a poor material for the tray drive gears in these players, and almost all of them have failed by now, and those that haven't will soon.

I should think other Philips based remote controls from the early 90's would work such as the one from the Marantz CD52, there seems to be a few on eBay at the moment could be worth a punt.
