Default Service Manual Magnavox (Philips) CD 2000 (CD492)

Does anyone have the service man. for this CDP? It's a strange and rare NOS CDP that came out in the late 1980s. Look for my post on this unit here:
Magnavox CD 2000: a Philips NOS CDP from 1989
Thx!

My records show that your Magnavox CD2000 is the same as a Philips CD482. But there is a catch, I know of at least 3 CD482 variants:

- CD482/00 has SAA7210, SAA7220 and TDA1541
- CD482/10 has SAA7210 and TDA1543
- CD482/30 has SAA7310, SAA7220 and TDA1543

Unfortunately, I only have the manuals for the /00 and /30 models. I have a couple of these /10 NOS players, but I have not modified either one. They aren't sonically stunning stock in my opinion.

I have a service manual for CD482 and it definitely is NOT the same as CD2000 or CD492; I think it's what you note for "CD482/00"???? Can you send me a copy if convenient? Thx!

Your player is the same as a Philips CD482/10, but it is diffrerent to a Philips CD482/00 and CD482/30.

You mean Magnavox CDB492, I don't think there is a Philips CD492.

Anyway, unfortunately I don't have the manual for a CD2000, CDB492 or CD482/10. I don't think these players were that rare either, like I said, I have two!
