Arcam Alpha 5CD- ERR 3- radial error

Hy,

I got an Arcam alpha 5cd with this problem(ERR3 -radial error). checked the cables and ribbon connector and such... but all seems ok, still the problem is there !

When I power it up if there is no disc is says DISC, and after a CD is inside it will just display error, without starting to spin the cd.

had another look at it, and it seems the laser diode is working ok, it puts out red light.
Suspected a dead diode, but it's not the case.

The laser diode works, just had another look at it, it outputs a red light. the lens moves up and down but the cd does not start spinning at all.
