I have a few Black coloured CD-R's. Ufortunately the label is also black. How do we write anything on the label ? Use a Silver indelible marker pen ? Will that eat through the paint on the label and the lacquer on the disc.
I think the disc may actually be dark red which will appear black because of the black label. Does anyone know what it really is ?
Cheers.

There are, of course, those self-adhesive CD labels, but some
people warn about using them. I have never tried them myself
since I don't quite trust them, and haven't had any need for
them.

Otherwise, I guess, but beware, it is just a guess, that using
white acrylic paint would be harmless (I am thinking of artist
type paint now, which is pretty well controlled, but even acrylic
paint usually has a little solvent of some type added, which
may be harmful. Beside, you would have to write with a pointed
brush or may dip the end of a pen in the paint, and it would
be awkward.
