wierd cd player problem

I have a Sony cdp ce335, it has a 5 cd tray.
A while ago it started to change the cds it self when I tried to play,
but eventually stopped and let me play.

Now, when I turn the player on the tray just go out by it self
and then i again...it does not stop!!!just goes in and out until I
turn it off.What can I do????

A possibility:

Most likely there are 2 leaf switches that detect the tray position - in or out.
You'd have to open it to locate those switches (probably they are not easy to get at, but may require removal of the tray).
Cleaning them might fix its problem.
Also, the cables to those switches are probably connected to the circuit board with mini push-on plugs which can give poor cconnection after some years. Unplug and replug those connectors.

It has motivated me to figure out how to get the tray out (without smashing it against the wall)

Are the leaf switches you mentioned are like mechanical (plastic in my case)
or they supposed to be electronic parts?
