Default Marantz CD6000 display problem

Hello everybody I'm experiencing a strange situation on my CD6000.

Suddenly the display died, no information are displayed but the player is still working. The player replies correctly to the commands both from front panel and from remote control. The disc are correctly played and the sound is good.

I've checked quickly some signals on the front panel board and all the voltages are correct (-21V, -26V and 5V) I didn't check yet if the bus from the processor to the display is working or not. I guess the display is gone since the processor recognizes the commands and controls everything.

Does somedoby have any suggestion?

Thanks in advance for any help

Read this,
Marantz CD5000 - display very dull - help?

Also... the display should feel "warm" because of the heaters when on. Can you see them glowing very very dull red in total darkness ?

If you get a 220 ohm resistor (long time since I have done this) and with one end grounded, run the other end of the resistor down any of the middle pins on the display, but NOT the end ones. That should light random segments up very brightly.

Has the "pip" on the glass envelope been cracked off ? Does the display look milky at all (Vacuum compromised) ?

I've fixed the problem. There was a little interruption on the 3.4Vca winding supplying the heaters of the display.
Thanks anyway for the help
