If anyone could please please trace the left channel signal path for CD on the DAC board of your Krell CD-DSP player?
I just finished repairing mine following forum's advice on replacing relays on DAC board. However, only the right channel is active now when playing CDs. On the left DAC there is still no signal on the pin 7 ( all other pin signals are OK, and the voltage is there). Instead, the pin 7 always gets DC ( around 2.5 - 5 v as I remember), irregardless of Input switch position. I suspect there is a power leak there and/or faulty transistor(s) in the buffer register, although it is quite hard to guess in which part of the path from the relay RL1 ( which stays always cut in every signal position) to the processor path. Now tried to measure all the caps down there but to no results. All seemed to be alright.. Your simple measurement in several places down the road would be of help to me. I already started to think that I probably cracked the board re soldering these relays... Thank you so much... Just managed to replace OAs to OPA627 as well... AlexS |
