Hi,
I am trying to convert my old Philips CD650 to a DAC. As SP/DIF receiver I will use CS8412 and connect it directly to the SAA7220 filter/clock chip. I have seen several schmatics with this configuration, but all are using some kind of reclocking with a seperate clock generator and a 74HC4040 chip. I would like to use the clock from the input signal as a start (simple), so I would like to remove the clock/xtal from the SAA7220 to prevent problems. The question is how to use CS8412 to enable clock from input and how to disable internal clock inside SAA7220? |
