Dear all,

I'm interested to replace the Yageo brand on my Burmester 061 with Black Gate ones. As I don't have much knowledge in electronics and I'm just wondering whether or not I could replace 4700uf 25V with 4700uf 35V or 50V, cos BG don't have cap in 4700uf 25V. I'm assuming that part of the circuit is voltage regulated and does that mean whatever value I replace the original with as long as I keep the same capacitance value I'd be fine?- Thx

While you have the pcb out, replace the ps diodes for soft recovery type.

I'm doing the same as you on my DVD player, but looking to find Elna RFS and maybe Nichicon LG, LF, LV (poly electrolytic type) that fit in the space available, but with about 1.5-2 times the capacitance.
