Denon DVD 3800 Mech parts wanted
I have a DVD 3800 which started making strange noises when the disc spun up, I had a look inside and found that the bottom spindle clamp had a magnetic coating sprayed onto it, which is now falling off in pieces.
The result of this is that the top is no longer pulled down onto it and doesn't clamp the disc. I had a quick search for the part over here and was quoted $300 for the bottom spindle clamp alone! Does anyone have contacts to buy this part at a reasonable price?, it's an old unit now but it's still a good one. Cheers.
