Building cd line stage.
125-125 v, 12.6 heaters running a single 12AU7 What gauge hook up wire for: A) Main B+ wire? B) Ground buss wire? C) Ground ties? D) Heater wires? E) Input/Output signal wire? |

The hook up wire has to be solid core, or ribbon if you can obtain ribbon.
Pure silver, annealed is very good… and even better if you can gold plate that silver. Pure silver ribbons, annealed and then gold plated are magic. Natural cotton sleaving is brilliant. Bear cables (air dielectric) is the best. If you can’t get this stuff, use solid core copper – like in CAT5 cables. For larger currents use multiple runs of the same cable with slight twist.
