hi all,
was listening to the stone roses last night on the old girl, cd finished, but the display kept flashing the "CD, CDV, LD" lights, but the transport wouldn't do anything else. none of the buttons worked. the remote didn't do anything. i flipped it off and back on. sometimes the standby light would briefly flash, and the the whole thing was dead. other times, the display would light up with the aforementioned blinking lights. but that's about it. i do here, the regulated power supply click each time i flip the power switch. anybody know what took a crap? the unit is basically a hot rodded Philips CDM-9 PRO for reference. i know, it's old - but it looks so cool with its best mate - my Theta DSPro GEN III DAC ;-) thanks, Robby |
