Hello,
I made a test CD for audio testing. It contains for example short noise bursts. When playing the CD with my oldish Yamaha CDX-593 player, I've noticed some wierdest things at the analog output. It's totally garbage! Here I play the CD with the Yamaha and record the line level signal with laptop audio input. See this picture, there is a miraculous DC shift occuring just before the noise burst! http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2400456/CDsoitin_bugi1.PNG And this even worse, See after the noise burst the signal peaks and slowly comes down: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2400456/CDsoitin_bugi2.PNG What is going on?? The CD is okay, since with another player nothing like this happens. - Elias |
