Adjusting laser cd100
Hi all,
To adjust the laser of the cd100 do the following:
Set the laserpowerpot to 50% and play a cd.
Connect a scope to the white wire from the shielded cable.
Now you will see the eyepattern.
While playing the cd, VERY slowly turn the pot counterclockwise
untill the eyepattern just becomes out of focus.
This is the minimal setting the laser will work.
Now turn the pot clockwise again untill just the eyepattern
is as sharp as possible, usually this will add about 200mv p/p
This is the optimal setting without stressing the laser.
