Default Adcom GDA-700/Pioneer PD-65 vs Marantz SA-8001

So my current setup is the adcom/pioneer combination. I like it. But I have been hearing alot about the Marantz SA-8001. Would going to the SA-8001 be a major improvement over what I have as far as sound? Comments.
