Are there different i2S Bus ?
Hello,
again I have a question. I have bought a Y2, Gamma2 DAC Board which uses a WM8741 on Board and I like to put it in a Philips CD-600 or something to use this CD-Player as Transport. There is a I2S Bus before and after the SAA7220, Clock, Data and Wordselect. Now I read there are differencies in the bus if its a german/Philips or japanese/Sony I2S ? Can somebody help me there ? Can I use the Philips I2S with the ADI AD1896 or BB SRC4396 which is on the Gamma2 DAC-Board ? Or have I to use some kind of Sony-Transport with the Sony I2S Bus ? I hope for godd news.
