Examining my denons 2910 clock setup (see atachment) puzzled me.

After the pll-chip i see an inverter, a clock dubbler, a flipflop division by two, and another inverter. After all this rubbish the output is still at max 96Khz. So in my oppinion i can rid of the first inverter and use the inverted output of the flipflop

Even better the cy2302 dubbler has beter jitter specs as the pll so i keep that in. I just don't let it dubble and use the better specs of output two and remove the first inverter and the flipflop, right?

An other question would be if the jitter spec's of the pll is at worst 450ps and the spec's of the cy2302 is 90ps wat would be the final jitter?

If the freq. is max 96k how can it play dvd-a with 192k sampling?
If i compare it with a 3910 clock setup with the same pll and cy2302 there is no division by 2.
