Default Fitting separate transformer into CD52

I have just cut some of the bracing away (red square)and replaced it with some dampening material. But this pic doesn't show that.
My question is would there be any dramas putting a transformer down in the corner there (yellow box), to run a clock from?
Would it be too noisy or too close to other areas of the board?

Thanks.
