My philips cd624 is not working well, some times it jumps from time to time when reading the disk( especially for the first few tracks of a disk), but it usually works well for the last 2 or 3 tracks on a disk.
so I want to adjust the laser current for according to the service manual, but somehow I could not find where is the point 27 in step 6. Does anybody knows? ![]()

I believe that the FE-Lag Signal comes from pin 16 of the TDA8088. It is labeled as test point "22" on the CD624 schematics but is labeled as "27" on other schematics such as that for CD850 and CD630.
