yes...it's written 16CKSS5GT and it's on a CDP

What IC is it connected to?
Its most likely Should be 16.9344MHz, but maybe with a large PPM error (well its only Spec. to 16MHz).. Its common to see cheap CD players with very loose Crystals, I dont understand why, as they cost less then US$0.10 in China - why bother saving the last cent? John
