Default Denon DVD-5900 can't read SACD, any mods available?

hi, my universal player Denon DVD-5900 has quit reading SACD such that the unit will hang (buttons not responding except power button). Is this due to programming errors? All other formats are working fine. Any ideas?
Also, what simple mods can be done on the unit o improve sound quality?
Cheers..
Andre

Got it fixed! Go to Denon USA's website and download the software updates for the unit, 2 files: .rom and .cfw which have to be burned as according to the instructions (ISO9660 and Mode/level 1 ONLY). After the updates the SACD discs can be recognized!
Cheers!
