Hi,
I am trying to use my installed M-audio AP192 for the first time. I hooked up the SPDIF output from AP192 to my DAC, and playing the FLAC files using MediaMonkey. I cannot get any sound so far. Not sure where to start with the troubleshooting. Can anyone help me with suggestions? Thanks |

The Ap192 seems to work normally - sample rate shows "44.1" when playing CD files, and "96kHz" when playing hi-res files.
problem is, my DAC cannot see anything from the AP192 SPDIF output. |

Sounds like you need to configure the settings in your DAW software to SPDIF output; assuming your 192 card is working properly.
Have you loaded the updated drivers and DAW from M-Audio. Good luck. Cheers. |

After messing around with this for the whole day, it turned out the problem was with my DAC unit. The ground on the SPDIF RCA jack was broken. Resoldered the wire and everything worked fine.
