It's been awhile since I've seen a post about mods to this CDP. I've had some good success with Brent's suggestions (opamps, local decoupling, and regulator upgrades). The most profound inprovement was swapping in a Dexa regulator supplying the clock. If I was more confident I'd try adding separate power supplies but I'm not there yet. -don't want to let the smoke out!
