By decoder, and for the sake of this discussion, I mean non-SPDIF decoding, via ICs such as Philips SAA7210, SAA7310, etc., in native CDP topology.
Anyway, has anyone measured the jitter on these? What's your experience -- if any -- with reclocking the decoder's output? If you have a dig. filter (oversampler) following the decoder, I'm interested in anyone's experience in reclocking its output in addition to reclocking the decoder -- in effect a sort of "double" reclocking. |
