Default CD850 or CD850 II

Hello

I have owned a Philips CD850 since new (nearly 20 years now !), I have often wondered what the differences are between the mk1 and mk2 ?.
Can the mk1 be modified to mk2 and is it worth it, I suppose I am asking if the mk2 is an improvement over the mk1.

My mk1 has been modified with a Trichord research clock board but is otherwise as it left the factory. Does anyone have any suggestions as to other worthwhile mods ?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere in the forum - I didn't find anything when I searched.

Thanks

Graham
