How to use DC battery instead of AC transformer to modify Tascam Cd 601 power supply?

I would like to use DC battery instead of AC transformer for power supply. Then I used +12v,+5v, -12v, -5V DC battery to replace 7805,7905,7812,7912 regulator. However, no response.

There are only 4 regulator inside the CD player which are 7805,7905,7812,7912 respectively.

What is the reason?

Any additional DC that I need to supply for the IC and other devices in order to operate the CD player?

Is it ony supply DC +5V,-5V and +12V,-12V to operate the CD player?

Any additional DC that I need to supply for the IC and other devices in order to operate the CD player?
