I can't help you with the manual. I too struggled to find a service manual for a NAD C520. They must be a closely guarded secret.

Do you have a fault, or are you just looking to mod the analogue output stage?

I tested the downloads (which happen to be .exe files) on a Windows virtual machine - and they appear to be virus ridden.

UPDATE: It installs "kingsoft antivirus" which is all in Chinese (I think!). It also installs a downloader called "tencent".

It also installs "Kingsoft Internet Security" and tries to mimic Microsoft Security Essentials by the look of it.

I managed to clean up my virtual machine - but I'm a seasoned IT professional - others may not be so lucky!

I use Win7 with Avast and Mozilla. Any recommendations?

I scanned both files - KAVSETUPS_40_958.exe and ksbinstaller_s_74_17.exe - with a local scanner *and* two online scanners and nothing was found.

This is because they are packed archives, and it would seem that the anti virus scanners cannot "see" inside the archives.

Just to be sure - these are the steps that I followed: (see screenshots)
