A buddy of mine has a Basic II with the usual gear problem but I can handle that. It's the loud pop that has me concerned and Thea no longer support this model so DIY is the chosen route.
Th unit works for a while, them goes out with a pop - sometimes loud enough to trigger the safety cut out of his amp. So I'm suspecting some of the now aged electrolytics - has any one come across this before and have a few pointers?
