What a nice idea and a wonderful soldering skill for using an U FL connector!

By the way, Acko designed an adaptor board for U FL connectors though it is not distributed yet.
ackoDAC based on ES9018

Default Remote Control

I am VERY interested in a remote control kit! The Apple remote control is an ideal partner

Meanwhile, would you care to show your remote control setup (ohoto)?

Tachyon is considering a possible distribution of optional remote control unit for SDTrans.
Bunpei and some other users in Japan developed their own remote control receiver by using an Arduino micro-controller board, Apple IR remote and modified Hifi-duino code.

I hope you enjoy music with SDTrans!

Try the Salas regulator. There are groupb buys going on on this forum.

Or try the Twisted Pear super shunt regulator.

I use a simplified version of the Salas regulator fom my SD Trans.
Here you can find the PCB:

FS: PCB's and opamps

This is high current version but you can modify the ccs current changing the resistor.

guglielmope, did you use normal wire at first for MCLK before using the U FL / coax? Was there an audible difference between that and what you have now?
Asking because I have a much further distance between the SD and my dac than I should.

I'm ssory that I can't show any pictures as of now because I had sold my units to my friend and I have none at my hand now.

I will post a picture of new one in the near future.

Hi Bunpei,
I received the pps caps and installed them last night. Need to let them burn in for a couple of days. They are different looking compared to other caps I have used. Thanks Bunpei

Default PPS caps

Once again a small change and wow. PPS caps are needed. Now its more intimate and real. But then my I2s goes bad so I'm using the Bnc output. 3 days of continous burnin makes for sweet sounds.Even the Bnc sounds great.

Very interesting!

Where did you install the PPS caps? On SDtrans384? What value(s).

Do you have a photo?

What happened to the I2S?
