Hi,
Just taken this out of my brother's loft and dusted it off. It plays ok and sounds quite nice (TDA1451), I'm thinking of doing some mods to it. The drawer mechanism seems to need a little help to open, I think it's probably just needing a clean, there's a lot of dust inside. However, I noticed that the drive belt on the drawer is very perished, I don't think it's going to last long. Has anyone any idea where I can source a replacement? I don't want to do much before this is sorted out as it would be a total waste once it's broken. Also, any tips on the best way to remove the transport mechanism for cleaning? Thanks Pete |

I have a Philips cd 373 to give away for free. There is an "err" after the cd starts spinning..
Anybody interested? Well, you'll need to pick it up in Winterthur, Switzerland. |
