Denon DVD3910 problem

I can only play 1-2 CD´s before the player locks up and I have to restart the player,have changed the laser and the laser bride wit the motors,but still the same problem.The newest firmware is installed.Wheb it locks up a tickin sound is heard,the frekvensy of about 1 second.

I might have found the problem..If I take the hood of,it plays as it should..
So it must be a heat problem..
I guess I must take up some holes in the hood.Sad but true..
