Default Need parts for a CAL Delta

I have a California Audio Labs Delta that appears to need a new power supply. It was working fine before I boxed it up and shipped it. When it arrived, it would not power up at all. I had an electronics engineer look at it, and he thinks that the power supply is bad, and he will replace it for me. The only catch is I don't have the schematics for this unit, nor do I know the part number for the power supply. Can anyone shed some light on this for me, please. How can I get the CAL or OEM part number? There is one forum member that has the schematics, but I am unable to send him a message because of forum rules (apparently I need to make a few posts before contacting anyone directly?!).

perhaps you could post some pics of the power supply, most cd players use off the shelf parts so it may be a simple fix, saying that its quite rare that the "whole" power supply has failed, more likely a component or two?

i have repaired a few players in the past where the rectifier diodes had intermittantly failed.
have you checked any fuses, caps etc?
as far as i know CAL went out of business more than quite a few years ago.
you may be able to get a schematic at http://www.audiocircuit.com or at http://www.hifiengine.com/
CAL gear is quite rare over here, i have an audio alchemy dds iii which is still needing repair

Larry is a good guy. He replaced the Laser pickup in my Cal Delta. I'm sure he can fix it for you.
