Hi
After lots of research and ridings I decide to clone the Nakamichi Dragon DAC. I found the service manual, most of the components but I would like to use the original PCB design. In the service manual I have only the arrangement of the components on the PCB. Has anyone the design of the PCB? Any suggestion? Thanks |

Hi
I would like to hear suggestion about my project if it is a waste of time to clone the Nak`s DAC or some project already tested with PCM1704. Thanks |

Fwiw it's a fairly conventional dac with a probably unobtanium receiver and seriously under-designed PS. 5534 as I/V may also be questioned. Lots of other receivers to choose from so this won't stop you.

Hi
Yesterday I bought a DAC from eBay whit a DF CS8416 and a CS4398 converter. I read that it is very easy to modify with a good result. Very good sound with a tube output stage. I will wait for it and who knows maybe in the future I will made one with PCM1704. |
