Hi,
Are there any 24bit CDs and what CDP pass these out as 24bits ? I was looking into the CDPRO2 mechanism and the associated electronics an it seems that on 16bits is sent out to the Digital Output, for a very industrial mechanism which some very high end transports are based. |

amoyan:
CD is a 16-bit format. There are no 24 bit CD's. a "24-bit CD Player" just means that it takes the 16-bit signal and upsamples it to 24-bit before converting it to analog. |
