Was using the unit and turned it off. Later went back to use it again and it wouldn't find the disc. It would search all 5 and reply "No disc found". I opened it up and it looked fairly clean. Do the lasers that read the disc fail? Is this unit worth repairing?

Look at the laser position, it should be closest to the spindle
Try to move it as close as possible. - if it looks ok you should check the laser and other stuff more advanced that i cant help. |
