Hi all Forum Members.
Please help me. I have a Pioneer PD-8500 cd player. This cd player use a piece of BB Pcm-63K dac/channel. I want to built another, better output stage. I have two idea. 1 Transformer output whitout tube. Sowter 8347, or Lundahl LL1620. 2. Fet output stage. What is the better? Have anyone a better idea? I have two Lundahl schematic, but i haven't got a Sowter schematic. What do you think for these? Tnank you your help. Sorry my bad English. |

use xformer output , then Jfet buffer
been there ....

Hi all Forum Members.
Dear Zen Mod. I have a Pioneer VSX-839 AV Reciver. This reciver is my preamplifier. Input sesitivity/impedance CD stage is 335mV/47KOhm. Thank you your help. Sorry my bad Engkish. |

in that case you'll certainly need buffer after transformer outputs and preamp ;
input impedance of your next (preamp ) stage is too low for transformers in that place and role ; besides that - when you ( and if ) you made that modification to PD , your receiver will be way below in quality .

these "two" schematics are in fact - same .
regarding buffer - do you have possibility to buy from e- bay ? presuming your lack of experience , maybe is best to buy ready made buffers
