Default Meridian 207 and Luxman D105

Hi,

I was wondering if either the Meridian 207 or Luxman D105 Cd Players are still worth owning as main cd sources. Can these still be repaired even if the laser is faulty?

Thanks for your assistance,

Well, if you don't want the Luxman and it's the tube output version, I will gladly pay the postage back to the UK and also for the Mission.

Sorry, I don't own either of them yet...

I have been offered both of these to purchase, the laser in the Luxman is in better condition than the Meridian. I am apprehensive as if the laser dies, they will essentially be doorstops, like in the Philips 04 series. They will be in daily use, so I am not interested in just getting the Meridian so I can I say I own one.. The Lux has the tube output.

The CDM in the meridian is stil easy to get hold of.

I'm not sure about the Luxman. It's a pretty common CDM, though.
