Default cambridge audio cd-6

I have a cambridge audio cd-6 which i know is old but which I quite like. it sounds great and was designed by paul westlake, apparently.

I have moved from the uk to the us and brought it with me. what is the best way to convert it to us voltage. should i use a step up transformer or can i do some work inside the cabinet to switch it

any suggestions?
