dj cd player suggestions

I know anything is possible, but I doubt it will be economic in any kind of way....
So I need two cd players for my dj rig. I know that there are computers and ipods, but let's limit this to just cd players.
I really like the pioneer cd players they offer, but woooaaa too pricy for me.

How hard would it be to make something like this. I'm guessing that most of the controls and features could happen through a microcontroller. The rest of it is hardware, i.e. case, buttons, display ect. So even though it's possible... probably not feasible hu?

And since we are on the topic, why not a whole diy 2 ch. mixer and cd players?
I guess it would not be too ecenomical
