Hello all,
I have an almost stock Parasound DAC 1000 which i want to upgrade. I have already replaced the dac chips to the K-grade version. What I am looking now is: Replace the digital filter and spdif, probably with the ones that are offered by audiotuning from Germany. They claim for a big improvement in the sound. Has anyone done that and how is the sound? Replace the op amps with the opa627. However I see there are a lot of different opa627 versions - opa627au, opa627bp and etc. Which one would be the best for the DAC 1000? Has anyone tried a complete conversion to a tube circuit which should replace the op amps and what is the result? Thanks to all!
