Marantz cd75dx problems

I just came across a marantz cd75dx in a local shops junk pile and decided to give it a home. After cleaning it up I hooked it up to see what was up. It runs for about a minute before it stops spinning and the display goes back to t.o.c. Does anyone have an idea as to where I could start looking for the problem. The laser is a cdm2.

I´ve been playing a little futher with it and every time you push play, it takes less time before stopping. ie. 45sec-32-22-15-10-5-0. I´ve cleaned the laser and had a look through it and think maybe I could start replacing some of the caps. I´ve seen people here writting that the laser had died in their player and then others saying that it was a power supply problem. In the case of a player as old as this I´m wondering if I should try tracking down a new or used laser first. I also have a Marantz cd60 with Burston opamps and when I picked up I bought a new cdm4/19 just in case something like this happened.
