I have become, after upgrading a number of them for myself and clients, a HUGE fan of how gorgeous I can make the Pioneer DV-09 dvd/cd player sound. The one pain in the neck, though, is that it was designed, like the nearly as great DVP-S900ES Sony, to deliberately NOT play CD-R's(though both readily play CD-RWs). So, it would be really great to find either a DV-S9(a DV-09 that nicely has a digital INPUT) or a PD-S06(cd player that uses the same fabulous PD7009B/PCM1702 chip combo) to buy or trade into. Unfortunately, these are very, very rare in America, so thought I would give it a shot to ask this worldwide forum the question.

I think I can help with the S06...(a friend has one for sale, golden)
I think he wanted something like $ 300, depending on the very variable currency...shipping will however probably be just as much... (this unit has a LCAudio clock installed) Arne K
