Comparison of a few popular low price DIY DACs
Hello all
I recently got my 12xTDA1543 DDDACMkII up and running and am very impressed with it. It has made me wonder how it might have stacked up against other popular DACs I could have bought in the price range. Most specifially I'm thinking of the Opus DAC and some of the nice TDA1541a implementations available to DIYers. Far eastern offerings could come into this too (Zhaolu etc). Does anyone who owns more than one of these low price (roughly under $300) DACs have any comments on how they fare? Sorry if this has been discussed bafore, but a search for "tda1543 vs tdaa541a vs opus" turns up quite a few results! Thanks |
