PHILIPS I2S to PCM63PK

Hei,Guys.
here we got a problem:
how to use PHILIPS I2S format to connect PCM63PK?

it's pity if we can't do it.
because i love I2S more than SPDIF.
i tried some ways in the Datasheet of PMD100.but it didn't work.....


can anyone help?
i see SM5840 and SM5803 can do it.but we need a micro chips to control the 2 chips....

read carefuly PMD100 datas and You will find an example how to do...
There is one app note anlog device i think, about that i cant remember now...

in fact i woud like to build a OS PCM63 DAC.for my PCM63 is ready,made by sony.taken off from a SONY audio equiment.

here is the photo.
i tried PMD100 as a DF.but it didn't work.i had a look at SM5842,SM5803,SM5813 and SM5840.
none o them can input I2S directly.but SM5840 and SM5803 can use a logic circuit to delay data and REclock,so that they can accect I2S format.but both of SM5840 and SM5803 need a MCU to control it.

i have a no idea if SM5813 can do it in this way.

and another way is to turn I2S into EAIJ.for all DF can input EAIJ format.

but there is a new DF,name DF1704E.it can input I2S directly.but many people said this DF is not so good as it was said.

any ideas?

as i show on the photo.
in this little board,i just need to input the powers +-5V and +-15V for PCM63 and JRC5532.of course i still need to take 4 signals from Digital fiter.that all.
this board it was designed to use DF1700 or YSF210B.i take them off when i have a test on LINN Numerik DAC.

PMD100 is good one...
I tryed PMD100 with CS8414 recever (like on the datas...)
and after that PCM56 and PCM63 and it was working
excellent sound...
for PCM63, PMD100 must be set to 20bit word...

you know,this little board is so good to put it in a CDP.i mean i don't want to build it as a single DAC,for i already have the LINN NUMERIK DAC,which use PCM63PK too.
so i don't want to use the SPDIF and CS8414/8412 and so on.
I will try any possible way to make it work inside a CDP,especially basic on PHILIPS CD system.i love PHILIPS.


so i am looking for any digital fiter to accept I2S.
it was said in PMD100's DATA,it can input I2S from SAA7345.but i failt to do it from SAA7210.

it used SM5840 to accept I2S from SAA7310.i check that STUDER D731 are in the same way.but it used SM5803.
i am not so sure if SM5813 can do it in the same way.
