Technics SL-P110 CD player

Does anyone have any data on this thing? I've been given one and while it performs quite well, I can't find any data on it whatsoever.

I've also opened up the unit - the PCB looks like a real mess to me! There is a lot of reworking on the solder side, componens added etc, there is even a small addon board connected with cables that has a relay on it with a few components - from running it, it sounds like a muting relay.

I can't find anything on the chips used in it, either, other than the obvious Burr-Brown PCM54HP DAC. I'd quite like to find a serial audio output so that I can add an SPDIF output, and I belive this is on the MN6617 chip - but can't find a data sheet on that !

Hi jaycee,

Replacement for MN6617 DAC (from Technics) should be MN6626 (from Panasonic). Maybe attached date sheet will help.
