Generic Chinese MP3 player firmware
I'm attempting to use a large number of generic Chinese "Shuffle" style clip on players in a display. They loop nicely as required when powered up, but the initial volume settings are a bit low. These are the ones with no display, just a circular ring (Vol+,Vol-, track+,track-) and a play/pause button in the middle. Is there any way of storing a higher initial volume setting, such that this setting is saved and recalled when the power is applied (or will I have to use a UPS). These things come with no information.

Those might be based on S1MP3 hardware; check out S1MP3.org
